There are quite a few beers on the market brewed with the addition of honey, but for June Roger Protz has picked this new beer from Wychwood, brewed with Fairtrade honey, and available now.

Wychwood, BeeWyched Honey'd Ale (England)
Brewed with Fairtrade honey and sugar, the beer has a burnished bronze colour with a big aroma of grainy honey, biscuity malt and spicy hops. Juicy malt, sweet honey and tart citrus fruit fill the mouth. The finish is bittersweet with rich biscuity malt balanced by bitter hops and tangy fruit but with a lingering touch of honey. Malt: high. Fruit: moderate. Hops: moderate to high. 5.0% ABV, 50cl, £1.59 - £1.69, Morrisons, Waitrose.
