Hue Brewery, Hue Beer (Vietnam) Now owned by Carlsberg, this Vietnamese beer pours a yellow colour with thin white head. I'm not sure if this beer is brewed with rice, but there is a distinct rice-flour note on the nose, with a touch of toast and a yellow corn and slightly hoppy quality. On the palate a fairly straighforward lager, but watery in texture and flavour, with a slightly green streak too. Drink for interest, not pleasure. 5.0% ABV, 35cl, Onlyfinebeer, . | |
