Tindall Ales, Liberator (England)
This brewery moved to premisis opposite a US Airforce base, where the "Liberator" bomber had been based. Brewed from East Anglian malt and Cascade hops, this beer pours a lightly-hazy medium orange/gold, with practically no head, save a thin, off-white lace. On the nose there is a malty, toasty character and some marmalade-like orange fruit. On the palate it is crisp and fresh, with very low carbonation and quite a thin mouthfeel. Those citrussy, orange and lemon flavours dominate, with a gentle malt note and some background bittering hops.
